England Day 31: Girls will be girls

Tuesday was a interesting day. It started like any other with being picked up for work and a fun blitz with the kids. Carlie was on the field trip so I took over Counselor in training club for her. The kids had such a blast. They get to learn songs that we sing for blitz and also a skit that they would perform at Camp A Presents. It was a good morning and they definitely liked learning on the songs.

After clubs, we had a yummy lunch and went on break. When we got back, I got to do a rotating activity with the kids that they loved. They got to do magic with ice. You put a piece of ice in water and then lay a piece of string across it and sprinkle salt on it. The salt makes the string stick to the ice cube and you can pull the ice cube up with the string. The little kids were so amazed by it and loved it.

When rotating activities were done, we had free time and then headed home. When we got back, Maryanne got ready for her DATE! We were all so excited for her and couldn't wait to hear about it when she got back. While she got ready, we kept checking the windows so we could see him pull up. When he finally did, he looked so cute and we all got so giggly. We ran down the hall to tell Maryanne and then went to my room to get a better view of them leaving. When they left, we all went back to the day room and were all so nervous and anxious for her. We wanted it to go well and hoped they would have a good time.

Around 9, they came back and we again ran to my room to get a better view. We were like little girls all giggly and trying to see what was happening. When she got out of the car, we ran to the hall to see her. She came up the stairs and we all made her sit right at the top of the stairs in the hall so we could hear all the details at once. We were such girls and giggling the whole time and saying "Aww" and had huge grins on our faces. She had grins because she had a grin on her face. It was definitely a fun night with the girls. :)

Cheerio.
